The main hospital campus is located in the Vellore town, on the Ida Scudder Road. The campus is about 2 km from the main bus-stand. The Katpadi Railway Junction is about 6 km from the main campus. Buses, Auto Rickshaws and Taxis ply between the station and the hospital. CMC Help Desk" is available on platform No.1 at the Katpadi station.

Schell Eye Hospital

Schell Eye Hospital located in Arni Road is CMC’s Ophthalmic Department. It is 2 km away from the main campus. Patients with eye problems should go directly reach here.

How to reach: The Schell Eye Hospital can be reached by Busroute no.2 from the CMC bus stop and route no.1 operating from Bagayam, close to CHAD hospital.

CMC’s Department of Psychiatry

For patients with psychiatric problems they must visit CMC’s Department of Psychiatry.

It is situated 7km. south of the main campus on the Medical College premises at Bagayam.

How to reach:- Bus No.1 or 2 from the bus stop near the CMC out-gate goes to Bagayam Medical college campus.

My 2 and half year old son had hydrosil. It is not from birth. Local doctors are tellig about surgery. I intend to visit velore CMC in between 7 to 10 th Novenber. Please tell name of good pediatric surgeon avalable at that time and the dates on each week he/she is available. accordingly I shall book train ticket. Urgent plaease.
